Release Policy

Dear Valued Agent,

Bennett Insurance Agency (BIA) grants our agents the right to be released from their contractual obligations upon written request. We understand that circumstances may arise where an agent wishes to terminate their affiliation with our agency for personal or professional reasons. However, we would like to draw your attention to two exceptions to this policy as outlined below:

Debit Balance Owed

If an agent owes a debit balance to Bennett Insurance Agency, we reserve the right to defer the release request until the outstanding balance has been settled. This policy is in place to ensure the fair and equitable treatment of all parties involved. It is our responsibility to protect the financial integrity of the agency while maintaining transparency and professionalism in our dealings.

We understand that unexpected financial obligations may arise, and we are committed to working with agents to find mutually agreeable solutions for resolving outstanding balances. If you owe a debit balance to Bennett Insurance Agency, please reach out to our Producer Support Team to discuss potential repayment options or assist you in finding a resolution.

Release requests that fall within this exception will be processed promptly upon resolution of the outstanding balance. We value open communication and believe in handling such matters in a fair and respectful manner.

Carrier Blackout Periods

Each year, multiple carriers implement a blackout period where they temporarily suspend processing releases. As a result, BIA will not issue an immediate release during this period, but will process it promptly at the conclusion of the blackout period.
